My journey as a professional musician has taught me the power and joy of music. For 30 years, I've been sharing that passion by helping aspiring guitarists of all levels find their voice through personalized instruction. Let's unlock your musical potential together!

I began my guitar journey at the very end of 1989, learning from a Mel Bay book before starting formal lessons. Over the years, I've explored rock, blues, jazz, fingerstyle, and classical guitar. In 2001, I completed my undergraduate studies with a minor in music, and although I majored in computer science, I found myself teaching guitar during a downturn in the tech industry. Inspired by a faculty recital at Berklee College of Music in 2002, I pursued an advanced degree in music, earning a Master of Music degree from Butler University in 2006. During my graduate studies, I also taught guitar at Ball State University as a graduate assistant in the Doctor of Arts program. I've lectured on the history of guitar, composed music for various instruments, performed nationwide, and taught hundreds of students across all guitar styles.
