Coaching since 2019, mostly experienced with Varsity and JV but some modified and younger experience during summer lacrosse. Loving the game is important in order to want to get better and want to take criticism, so I emphasize the fun side and the game within the game.
"Coach Yelich has taught me everything I need to know about the game of lacrosse from a competitive standpoint. He pushed me to my limits to make me the player I am today. He also showed me the responsibilities of being a captain and life lessons that I use every day. His competitive edge and aggressive coaching style are what every player needs to experience if they want to take the game of lacrosse seriously. Off the field, Coach is an amazing person. Anytime I needed life advice or just someone to talk to, he would always be there for me. I am lucky enough to now coach with him and still grow my knowledge of the great game of lacrosse.
