Alex Lee profile
About Alex

I’ve been playing pickleball for 6+ years with a strong tennis background, and what started as a fun hobby quickly became something I really care about. I play at a high level and love helping others to play stronger, move better, feel more confidant, and actually enjoy the game on a deeper level. To me, improving in pickleball is more than just skill, it’s freedom. The freedom to move, compete, express yourself, and have a whole lot of fun. My only goal is to help you get it

What students say...

"Second lesson with Alex Lee and the progress is real. This time he focused on creating a relaxing foundation for how to hit powerful shots using my whole body. Instead of muscling the ball, he showed me how to let my hips, legs, arms and toes work together to generate power. He gave me clear cues that clicked right away. I could apply them in the next rally and actually receive praise from him on the spot, which helped me lock in the feeling. The greatest thing about this lesson was the shift from being a tense player chasing after every ball to being a relaxed player staying on my toes, moving toward the ball early and hitting a powerful shot that looks effortless. He would identify and mark the shots that looked effortless and have me pause to feel what my whole body was doing on good contact. Now I know exactly what that connected feeling is supposed to feel like. On top of that, the lesson showed me what flow state looks like when I am relaxed. Everything makes sense, you feel totally connected with your paddle and the ball, and the game just slows down.

After five lessons with Alex, we’ve built a solid foundation on fundamentals like footwork, shot placement, backhands, and situational serve variations. The biggest improvements I’ve noticed are in my serving and dinking. I’ve been able to apply what I’ve learned directly in challenge court play—my serves feel more effective and help set up points better, and I’ve become less predictable overall. I’m also starting to think through points more instead of just reacting. Alex has a great eye for mechanics. In our last session on movement and positioning, he helped simplify a few habits that were making me overcomplicate things. His drills are practical and translate well into real match situations. I’m very happy with my progress so far and would highly recommend Alex to anyone looking to elevate their game.

Alex Lee is the reason my forehand finally feels reliable under pressure. He taught me the actual mechanics of staying calm and balanced on forehands and dinks, not just telling me to relax but showing me how footwork, paddle position and timing work together. What makes him different is how he assesses while you are drilling. Every piece of feedback was clear and specific, so I could understand it and apply it right away in the same rally. You can feel the improvement instantly. If you are an intermediate player wanting to take your game to the advanced level, then Alex Lee is your man. Absolute 5 star coaching.

First lesson with Alex. He came on time with his equipment and was easy to set up the lessons with. Friendly and knowledgeable with the love for the pickleball game. I was preparing for a future tournament so this lesson consists of a mix of everything, from different types of serves, to dinking, and returns. He evaluated my fundamentals and helped support my foundation and polished areas that I had issues being consistent with. Easy to work with and has an eye on picking up little details that I missed. Looking forward to future lessons and will review again on the progress.

Hey, so I had a pickleball lesson with Bahman and I’d say it was quite helpful. He pointed out I need to sharpen my serve a bit more. Though I still want to focus on improving my backhand and better anticipating the ball during rallies. I liked that he gave me specific tips on those areas. Still, I guess I’m looking forward to the next lesson because I think I'll keep getting more confident. If you're into refining your game, maybe you could give Bahman a try too.

I really appreciated how patient Bahman was and how clearly he explained the rules during the lesson, which made the whole experience quite enjoyable. His professionalism and encouragement resonated with me, and it definitely kept practice fun. Still, I think there’s room for more focus on specific drills to improve consistency, but overall, I’d encourage others to give Bahman a try if they want a solid, encouraging pickleball lesson.

The lesson provided a decent overview of dinking strategies, though I was hoping for a bit more focus on shot placement. Bahman's feedback was clear and helpful, which made me feel more confident about my next practice match. Still, I think some more hands-on drills could really enhance the overall experience. If you're looking to refine your finesse with pickleball, Bahman might be worth trying out.

Oh, well, Bahman's lesson was quite straightforward, focused on the fundamentals, which I found quite useful. Though I still want to learn more about how the game works, I feel like I got a solid start with the basics. Still, it was a helpful step towards understanding pickleball better, and I might consider trying another lesson to build on what I’ve learned.
