About Laniakea Beach
Laniakea Beach on Oahu's North Shore is a popular surfing access point with offshore breaks like Laniakea, Himalayas, and Hultin's. Rocky shelf and strong rip currents make it challenging; experienced surfers use the beach for wave access.
- Parking: Roadside parking along Kamehameha Highway is limited, fills quickly especially on weekends/holidays. Commercial vehicles and tour buses prohibited from parking/stopping. Arrive early morning or late afternoon.
