I think the lesson with Loumienne really covered everything quite well, and I found that the overall experience was pretty good. The technique breakdowns helped me see where I can improve, especially since my backhand needs some work still. Though I still need to work on that, I’m hopeful the next lesson will have me hitting more confidently. I think it’s too early to rate much with a first lesson. The park was lovely and so was Loumienne. We were working in tennis courts which made the scale off but will make a change for future meetings. Loumienne did start the coaching with pointing out proper warmup exercises which I needed and then proper stance and paddle holding techniques. Then we practiced hitting balls. It was a good start.
