About Geoffrey

As a former D1-D2 athlete with 9 years of experience and coaching other teammates, I am passionate about the game of tennis and helping players of all levels reach their full potential on the court. I combine proven techniques with personalized strategies to cultivate a love for the game and achieve lasting results. Starting out as number 2 singles & doubles in high school, playing d3 in college starting as number 13; I took upon myself to get better training day in and day out by myself researching the game as well as crafting my skill. Within my sophomore year of college I moved up to D2 becoming the men’s/women’s captain while playing number 2 doubles and singles. My Junior-senior year of college I continued to hone my skills, leveling up to number 1 singles & doubles plus captain for Frostburg State University playing D1-D2 division Universities. I’m someone who has been in the position of being hungry striving to do better, which I would love to do the same for others! Happy to teach the fundamentals, help sharpen players tennis game as well as match play scenarios.

What students say...

I’ve had a pretty good experience with Geoffrey. He listens carefully to what I want to achieve and comes prepared with a structured lesson program, which I really appreciate. The lesson was well-organized and focused, making the whole process seem straightforward. Honestly, I feel more confident about my skills after each lesson, though I still see room for improvement. Still, it's encouraging to work with someone who pays attention to details and tailors the lesson to your goals. If you're looking for a coach who’s organized and genuinely interested in your progress, I’d say give Geoffrey a shot.

The lesson really stood out because of how clearly Geoffrey explained the movements, which made it easier to grasp the techniques. Though the drill was challenging, it pushed me to think more about my shots without feeling overwhelmed. I appreciate the measured approach, and I think trying similar drills again could help me improve even further. If you're looking for guidance that’s straightforward but effective, Geoffrey might be worth considering.

Oh, yeah, I’d say Geoffrey’s lesson definitely gave me a good sense of progress, especially with some key techniques he pointed out. Though there’s still room to build on certain aspects, I’m liking the steady approach. Honestly, the focus on fundamentals helps make each practice more meaningful. If you’re like me and want consistent improvement without too much fuss, giving Geoffrey a shot might be worth a try.

The lesson was pretty active, which I appreciated, and Geoffrey kept me moving throughout. Though, serving still feels like an area to work on, but I’ve got a good sense of what to practice next time. I suppose I’ll just need some time to put it all into play.
