My name is Chris Taft I am a former professional basketball playing in the NBA and overseas and before that, played at the University of Pittsburgh. My focus making athletes better elevating their game through skill development and game focus drills. A PGA professional since 1994, I have watched thousands of swings and watched hundreds of lessons from many great teachers of the game. I thrive at teaching the weekend warriors by applying the fundamentals of the swing and focusing on balance. I believe people become position and ball focused instead of creating a core driven swing motion of the arms allowing the club to passively collide with the ball on the club’s path to the finish position. Golf is a game of opposites, let me teach you why.

My approach to the game emphasizes mastering the fundamentals: grip, posture, stance, alignment, and ball position. I believe that a solid foundation is key to success. From there, I focus on ball contact and compression, making necessary adjustments to help every player achieve their best results. Golf is more than just a game to me. It’s a lifelong passion that I love sharing with others.
