Former DII left-handed pitcher, outfielder, first basemen, slapper, and power hitter with experience coaching 16U–18U travel ball and providing private lessons. I focus on proper form, conditioning, and mental toughness to build strong, healthy, and confident players. With advanced knowledge of thoracic outlet syndrome, arm care, and recovery, I emphasize injury prevention and sustainable performance. My coaching also includes a classroom-style training in addition to physical lessons — learning pitch strategy (this matters in ALL positions), game awareness, and how to play to your strengths. I’m passionate about helping athletes of all ages reach their goals — on the field, in the classroom, and through the recruiting process.

I am honored to serve as the Head Coach of Club Sports Pickleball at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, AZ, where I bring my expertise as a PPR certified professional coach and IPTPA Certified Instructor. With over 30 years of coaching experience, I specialize in providing tailored instruction through individual sessions, group classes, and clinics. Previously, I co-owned Armour Pickleball and currently teach as a professor in the College of Theology in Phoenix, AZ, while also serving as a USA Pickleball Ambassador, promoting the sport's growth and community engagement nationwide.

Started playing soccer competitive at 10 years old for Grove United FC in Illinois. Played with the club for approximately 6 years right before I went to high school in 2010. I switched clubs to play for Jean-Pierre Tokoto, who played for Cameroon at the World Cup in the 80’s, at FC Tokoto until 2014. In high school at Adlai E. Stevenson, I captained the sophomore boys soccer team to an undefeated seasons and went to play for varsity at the beginning of my junior to senior year. I played collegiate soccer at Elmhurst University for 4 years and travelled with the soccer team to France and Spain to play second tier academy teams. Through rigorous training from ID camps, travel soccer, training with semi-pros, and physical fitness, I increased my knowledge and fundamental skills to help the teams I played for reach for many finals, championships, and bragging rights over rivals. “Futbol/soccer is the beautiful game”- Pèle.

Major highlights include that for sessions, he comes to fields right near our house which is so convenient. He is a great motivator for our son who says “Coach gets me to hustle hard” and the drills he provides are helping our son grow technically but also build his confidence which is priceless. I am a corporate trainer and a teacher at heart with a love for golf. I have an innate ability to convey information so that people understand. I have helped many people improve their golf game through tips, drills, and coaching. I love seeing people improve, whether it’s on the course or off, and I’m passionate about guiding others to achieve their best.

Patti is currently a 5.0 player and been playing for the past 10 years. She has medaled in National Tournaments and has been teaching Pickleball for the past 7 years in both Minnesota and Arizona. Previously, she has coached High School basketball and softball and was even a pro Basketball player in the late 70s / early 80s. She is a US Army Veteran and also has experience in Racquetball.
