Hi, I'm Emmalee, the owner and lead instructor of Whitetip Swim School. Water has always been my happy place. I spent years as a competitive swimmer, including Division I collegiate athlete. I've also completed several open-water swims, including the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz, and Saguaro Lake, and have been scuba certified since I was 10 years old. My passion for teaching began at age 12 when I started coaching lessons.

With a B.S. in Mathematics from Arizona State University, CRLA certification, and professional tutoring experience dating back to 2013, my instruction runs on one principle: patient, adaptive teaching that meets every student where they are. When an explanation is not landing, I switch approaches until it clicks. This applies whether we are working through AP Calculus, Statistic, SAT & ACT Math, Precalculus, Algebra, Linear Algebra, Probability, Geometry, or Differential Equations.

I have been teaching math from elementary math through calculus for over 10 years. I have helped hundreds of students succeed. my patience and ability to explain difficult concepts in multiple ways are part of my success. More importantly, I build relationships with my students, and I understand the difficulty they are experiencing in their current situation. I am an expert in all kinds of math, and I am highly regarded in the Phoenix market as one of the best private math teachers available.

Former Amherst College golfer with competitive experience at the collegiate level. Throughout my career, I’ve competed in high-level junior, college, and amateur tournaments while developing a deep understanding of swing mechanics, course management, and the mental game. I specialize in helping golfers of all skill levels improve through personalized instruction, efficient practice, and proven competitive strategies. I assist with college recruiting and planning. +2 handicap.

I coach the mental side of baseball. I don’t teach hitting mechanics, pitching grips, or fielding footwork. I work on what most coaches never address: the confidence, focus, composure, and mental routines that determine whether an athlete’s physical ability actually shows up when it matters. I played college baseball at Hawaii Pacific University and Grand Canyon University and spent time in professional baseball environments including independent league camps and spring training. I know what it feels like to step into the box with pressure on, to deal with a bad at-bat carrying into the next one, and to play a role that demands mental toughness nobody taught me how to build. I had to figure most of it out on my own. Now I help baseball players at every level develop the mental skills I wish I had been taught. I am a Certified Mental Performance Coach through Brian Cain’s Mental Performance Mastery program and a Certified Life and Success Coach through Jay Shetty’s program. I also hold certifications and training in meditation, NLP (neuro-linguistic programming), and somatic coaching (body-based awareness and nervous system regulation). Most baseball coaches will tell a player to “shake it off” or “be more confident” but never explain what that actually means or how to do it. I do. I give baseball players specific, practical tools they can use before, during, and after games to compete with more clarity, confidence, and control.
