Golf has been an integral part of my life since I first picked up a club at the tender age of three back in 1978. Growing up surrounded by PGA Professionals – my father, brother, and two uncles – I was immersed in the game from the very beginning. Their expert guidance helped me develop my skills, and I quickly rose through the ranks to become one of the top junior and amateur golfers in Arkansas. Following a brief college stint in 1993, I decided to follow in my family's footsteps and become a PGA Professional myself. Over the past 32 years, I've had the privilege of experiencing the world of golf from every angle. I've competed professionally, caddied on all the major men's tours, and most importantly, shared my passion for the game by teaching players of all ages and skill levels.

After facing a spinal injury in college, I developed a deeper appreciation for injury prevention, recovery, and the mental resilience athletes need to return to play. I bring that awareness into my coaching, ensuring players train smart and stay healthy. As a coach, I strive to build confidence in every player, create a positive team culture, and help athletes grow both on and off the field. My journey in pickleball began in November 2021, and since then, it's become a passion that I'm eager to share with others. In July 2023, I achieved a milestone by becoming an associate coach through the Professional Pickleball Registry at the Athletic Club. In this role, I teach introductory classes, work with improvers, and guide junior players as they develop their skills and love for the game.
