Hey everyone I’m Manuel but I go by Manny. I’ve been playing soccer since I was seven. My biggest achievement was winning the 2004 U-17 Scorpoin K.O. Joga Bonito Nike tournament along with two other teammates. I love soccer as much as I love coaching. This is why I want to continue teaching it and coaching those that wish to improve their game. Recently played in PPA Las Vegas and finished with silver in 4.5 Mens Singles. Having triumphed in Round Robin events at Tustin Pickleball, I bring over two decades of tennis expertise, infusing a unique perspective into pickleball coaching. "First time learning how to play pickleball. I found Toms profile and felt like he would be a good coach for everyone due to his background and reviews. Im glad i found Tom! I suck at learning at the age of 42 and Tom has been patient with me throughout the lesson. 1 hour was pre challenging but kept me focused he gives you good advice and checks your mistakes and compliments what youre doing good. Im planning to sign up for several more lessons with Tom. I highly recommend him. Very good coach.

My journey with tennis began in childhood, playing with my grandmother, which sparked my passion and led me to join high school and college teams. Since then, I've maintained a regular schedule of playing several times a week. I've also enjoyed teaching numerous beginners, adept at starting players from scratch and guiding them through their tennis journey.

I have been playing basketball since the age of 10. My brother was on the high school team and I have trained with him growing up almost everyday. I played on my college intramural team and have taken lessons from professionals that played in college. I regularly play in basketball leagues that even have players over 6’8” tall. I am well versed in young children as I have taught young students English from three years up. (I have my own kids these ages) I am bilingual Mandarin and can explain concepts well in both languages. I am patient, kind, and enjoy seeing others achieve their goals. I look forward to teaching any students be well rounded individuals not just in sports, but in life.
