With over 17 years of piano experience and formal studies at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, I bring a well-rounded musical background and a deep passion for creativity to my teaching. In addition to performing in bands and working on various studio projects, I am also an active composer whose work draws from a wide range of styles and influences. My knowledge spans classical, Broadway, jazz, pop, and Christian music, allowing me to connect with students across many musical interests. As a teacher, my approach is flexible, encouraging, and student-centered. I believe that piano study should reflect each individual’s goals and interests, so lessons are tailored to the techniques, repertoire, and musical understanding that matter most to each student. From ivory keys to eager learners, I bring 15 years of experience and a concert performer's insight to piano instruction. My passion lies in nurturing musical potential, guiding students to unlock their unique artistic voice. I tailor lessons to each student's goals and ability level.

I bring over a decade of piano study and piano literature knowledge to the table: most recently I received my Bachelor’s degree in piano and will go on to do my Master’s. I am happy to give instruction and guidance and I hope to not just be an average teacher but more like a coach and a mentor to my students.
