My name is Zefora Ortiz-Gomez. I am a first-generation college graduate. I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Chicano Studies from the University of California, Berkeley, where I developed a strong commitment to educational equity and student advocacy. My professional experience includes working with foster youth, transfer students, and first-generation college students. As a bilingual professional fluent in both English and Spanish, I am dedicated to creating an inclusive and welcoming environment.

I'm a bilingual English and Spanish tutor with bachelor's degrees in Spanish and Biology from the University of Redlands and a background in healthcare. Hi! I’m Stanislas. I’m a competitive tennis player from France with over 17 years of experience and an 11.5+ UTR. I currently play collegiate tennis in San Diego and coach players of all ages and levels. I adapt each lesson to your goals, whether you want to build consistency through repetition or focus more on live-ball drills, point play, and competition.

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and am passionate about helping students building confidence in reading, writing, and learning. My experience includes mentoring and working with young people through spots and volunteer settings, where I learned the importance of patience, encouragement, and adapting to different learning styles. Whether a student is looking to improve academically or gain confidence in their abilities, I strive to make learning engaging, approachable, and rewarding.


Andes is a writer across genres based in San Diego. Their creative work has been published in Stone of Madness Press, Electric Literature, Bi Women Quarterly, and elsewhere. They hold an M.A. in English and have studied creative writing in the M.F.A. program at Columbia University. They have been an English lecturer at Texas State University and a creative writing teaching artist at the Austin Public Library Foundation. They currently teach at EngEasy and at Writers, Ink.
