My goal is to give you the skills to get through the challenges of the waters of life. You can’t stop the waves but you can learn how to surf, so you can confidently ride those waves. Let's groove! I have been performing as a bassist for over 18 years, and teaching for over ten years. As an instructor, I meet students where they are and tailor my teaching approach accordingly. Lessons are collaborative; I want to get to know each student and your individual goals and learning style in order to create an open and comfortable learning environment. My extensive musical background allows you to choose music YOU like to play, and through each song we will work on specific technical, harmonic, and rhythmic concepts. I use my experience as an active working musician to inform the lessons and ground everything you learn in real-world application. About me: I tour the US and internationally with Future Teens, an indie rock band with over three LPs on our resume. Future Teens has been featured on NPR, The Boston Globe, and WBUR, and was Boston Music Awards’ 2019 Alt/Indie Artist of the Year. I studied bass performance at Berklee College of Music, where I earned the Bass Department Outstanding Performer Award and Scholarship. I have a BA in English and French from Skidmore College (‘13). I have worked with students between the ages of six and sixty and welcome students of all ages.

Unlocking your golfing potential is my passion! I've been a dedicated golf coach for over 15 years, guiding students of all ages and abilities to improve their game. Golf can be played the Classical way involving all of the intricacies of technique and math or it can be taught at the Quantum level. I am prepared to use both.
