As a RPO and My DUPR coach certified instructor, I want you to improve your pickleball game without over complicating it. I specialize in simple, effective coaching that helps you play smarter, more effective and overall win more points while enjoying the wonderful aspects of the game. I am a graduate of Valparaiso University with degrees in music and theatre and I have been teaching piano, voice, and acting students for over 8 years. It is my personal philosophy that learning should be joyful and a ton of fun! I am a graduate of Second City’s Music Improv Conservatory, and I have taught young people and adults of all ages across Chicago and Los Angeles with Chicago Children’s Theatre, Lifeline Theatre, MA School of Acting, and in Chicago Public Schools. You may have seen me in the Romantic Comedy film Baking Up Love, in commercials for Smithfield, Pearson Textbooks, The Kentucky Lottery and more, as well as countless theatre productions and voiceovers. Sports have been my passion since day one, competing in various ball-related tournaments worldwide, consistently ranking in the top 10 of the 30-year-old division for an impressive 12 years. Alongside pickleball, I have a deep affection for boxing, racquetball, baseball, ping pong, and all things sports-related. With over two decades of coaching experience in softball, baseball, and soccer, I find joy in sharing invaluable insights that enhance performance and skill development. Lately, I've been thrilled to lend my expertise to numerous pickleball enthusiasts, eager to embark on this exhilarating, strategic, and highly social game, which demands precision in body motion, footwork, and technique.

My journey with tennis began in childhood, playing with my grandmother, which sparked my passion and led me to join high school and college teams. Since then, I've maintained a regular schedule of playing several times a week. I've also enjoyed teaching numerous beginners, adept at starting players from scratch and guiding them through their tennis journey.

I’m a lifelong student of the game, raised in a family of coaches, and I’ve spent years in the gym studying how players actually improve. I care about the details—footwork, decision-making, and building skills that show up in real games. Every session is focused on helping players grow their confidence, understand the game, and become more effective when it matters. I built my own game around efficiency—shooting over 60% from three with a 3:1 assist-to-turnover ratio—and that same approach is what I now use to help players improve and reach their potential. Above all, my goal is to help players develop a genuine love for the game that lasts a lifetime.

Hey everyone I’m Manuel but I go by Manny. I’ve been playing soccer since I was seven. My biggest achievement was winning the 2004 U-17 Scorpoin K.O. Joga Bonito Nike tournament along with two other teammates. I love soccer as much as I love coaching. This is why I want to continue teaching it and coaching those that wish to improve their game.
