My journey with golf began at the age of 6 when my grandpa crafted my first set of clubs. Since then, golf has been my constant companion, leading me to captain my high school golf team and all Riverside sport athlete of the year 2012. After high school I went to UCLA where I double majored in anthropology and philosophy, travelled the world, and continued to invest in my golf game. With a background in teaching and coaching, golf has become one of my favorite things to share with others. Its a lifelong passion that brings joy and fulfillment. I currently serve as the Head Girls’ Soccer Coach at Glen A. Wilson High School and as an Assistant Coach for the Mt. SAC Women’s Soccer Program. I started playing pickleball 3 years ago and I play almost every day in advanced level open play and ladder sessions. I’ve learned a lot about what it takes to go from not knowing how to play to being a solid pickup player who can play in advanced level games. I still know exactly what it’s like to be a brand new beginner and trying to figure out the game especially all the rules. My coaching style is easygoing and I try to keep the lessons light hearted so everyone feels welcome and comfortable. I like to use a mix of drills and gameplay with real time instruction and feedback during my lessons. A group of 3 or 4 students makes for a great class because I can play a doubles game with you while teaching you how the game works. I can also advise you on equipment, where to play, what apps to download to find games and leagues, etc. Feel free to reach out with any questions!
