Hey guys! I am a PPR certified Pickleball coach with years of experience teaching the game I love! My mission is to guide you in honing your skills, both on the physical and mental fronts. I can help beginners get a quick start so they can play games with their friends or help advanced players hone their skills and strategies to become a future tournament winner.

Coach was a part of the FIRST COHORT to graduate from the new USTA Coaching certification process. My name is Zach Tone and I just graduated from San Diego State University! I was the president of the pickleball club there for 3 years, and played competitively in collegiate tournaments around the country. I have taught over 100 students the sport, and I have a passion for helping people get better. I also work with the National Collegiate Pickleball Association in order to find high quality coaches for junior leagues!

I played tennis at an intermediate level in my younger years, winning a few trophies along the way. I picked up pickleball during the pandemic and have since competed in about seven tournaments, earning multiple bronze medals in singles and a Silver in doubles. I mostly focus on improving my game and sharing my passion for pickleball through coaching. As a certified PPR coach, I teach players of all ages, from kids as young as 5 to seniors in their seventies. I’m currently the personal pickleball trainer at the East Valley YMCA, where I love helping others discover and enjoy the sport.

I teach online and in person at Moscone Park Golf Practice Area, Presidio Golf Course, and TPC Harding Park in San Francisco, as well as Pruneridge Golf Club in Santa Clara. I provide clubs, equipment, balls at hitting bays, and a launch monitor. Range balls and course fees are paid by the student onsite. Bring your clubs if you own them and a good attitude.
