Born and raised in the rustic landscapes of New Hampshire, I spent my formative years immersed in the rich tapestry of music, thanks to the inspiring influence of my parents—both talented recording artists. My mother, a classical singer with a master's degree, not only imparted her passion for music but also shaped the local community as the chair of the voice department at the Concord Community Music School, where I first began my musical journey at the tender age of six. My father was a guitarist and producer, who built the first home recording studio I know of. Together, they were the centerpiece of a local children's rock group, Peggosus. I spent most days immersed their various crafts. From the moment I stepped foot in CCMS, music became my language and my calling. At thirteen, I picked up the guitar, and it ignited a lifelong relationship with the instrument that I continue to explore. My academic pursuits took me to the Berklee College of Music, where I earned my Bachelor of Music with the highest honors, further propelling my passion for music education. My journey has taken me across the country, performing with numerous bands and absorbing a wealth of musical experiences that inform my teaching. I take pride in offering a unique singing method that delivers immediate results to my students, fostering both confidence and skill in their vocal performance. In tandem with this, my guitar-study approach transcends genre boundaries, enhancing flow and technical ability almost instantly. With a commitment to nurturing creativity and fostering a love for music, I strive to guide my students in unlocking their full potential, encouraging them to find their unique voice in the vibrant world of music.

Hey, I’m Kosta Varvatakis. I’ve been playing guitar for over 25 years and have been lucky enough to tour the U.S. and overseas with my former band Hatriot. I’ve recorded four albums and worked on tons of songs over the years—writing, recording, and featuring on tracks across the heavy music spectrum. Although I now coach part-time, I have spent the past 20 years coaching and instructing for The City of Fairfield, Holy Spirit Middle School, and most recently, the Vacaville High Bulldogs. More than 10 of my students have gone on to play at the college level. But one of my proudest accomplishments is every junior player I have coached that went on to play in high school made their varsity squad as freshmen. Throughout these two decades, I have developed "The Five Keys" method of rapid learning. While I have specialized in instructing juniors with aspirations to play at the highest level, this method is designed for players who cannot dedicate hours each day to practice. The Five Keys Method focuses on accelerating progress without requiring extensive practice time. The Five Keys has consistently proven its effectiveness over the years, and I take great satisfaction in helping golfers achieve their personal goals, whatever they may be.

Meet Anna Lissa Jack, a talented singer, songwriter, musician, producer, and engineer and sometimes vocal coach from the San Francisco Bay Area. Anna has been singing and writing songs since she was a little girl. Her musical journey started at the Ephesians C.O.G.I.C in Berkeley, California, where she was pastored by the late Bishop EE Cleveland.  As she grew older, Anna developed a deep passion for harmony and experimenting with different vocal styles and musical genres. Anna’s talent really shone when she joined Castlemont High School’s Castleer’s. Under the guidance of the late great Phillip Lee Reeder, the Castleer’s became more than just a regular high school choir. He inspired many famous recording artists, who all credited Mr. Reeder for their musical journey. Some of Anna’s early musical influences include legendary artists like James Taylor, the Andrew Sisters, Bing Crosby, Danny Kaye, Andre Crouch, the Matthew Sisters, Walter and Edwin Hawkins, the Jackson 5, Emotions, Carpenters, Carol King, Natalie Cole, Stevie Wonder, Chaka Khan, The Beatles, Doobie Brothers, Bee Gees, Fifth Dimension, Switch, and many more. A close friend and brother, Larry Batiste, helped Anna get into AFTRA (American Federation of Television and Recording Artists) and introduced her to professional studio backup singing.  Anna has had the pleasure of working with many talented artists and has made a name for herself as a go to background singer.

After playing for over 10 years, I've had many opportunities to coach youth all the way through high school. I've worked each summer as a coach for my local club, working alongside great coaching staff my whole life to coach the younger players. In high school, I ran my own clinics two years in a row for both men and women that led to the beginning of the Del Oro Lacrosse Team in Loomis, CA. As a defender, my coaching specialties include footwork, body positioning, stick skills, field vision, and defending from both the wings and from X. Our first session will focus early on understanding exactly which fundamental areas you need to focus on, then giving precise guidance in those areas. I focus on building a strong foundation, where players can perfect the basics so they can stack more advanced topics as they progress.
