Also working as a Surf and Soccer instructor, I’ve got experience and am passionate about teaching others. Im most passionate about mechanics and building the correct foundations, but also having the right mindset. These are the two most important pillars in the sport that I take most pride in. Played competitive golf in the 2000s and still play recreationally. I have been coached by my stable of professional tour players and PGA coaches over the years. I have studied the golf swing extensively via individual mechanics. I do not change someone's swing based on textbook, but I do ensure the basics are flawless. Grip, stance, posture and alignment are essential. I help players improve within their own abilities and tendencies to recreate and reinforce positive patterns.

Fueled from a life long passion for racquet sports including playing for UC Irvine tennis 1986-1990, I became a dedicated pickleball enthusiast in January 2021. I started at over 190 lbs and currently am at 160 lbs and in the best shape I have been for the last 20+ years, so I know the benefits of pickleball. Not to mention the wide array of good friends I have made over the years. I currently compete at the Senior Pro level and my DUPR rating is over 5.0 in both singles and doubles. I work with all levels of pickleball players and have coached students now competing at the professional level. I am an IPTPA certified instructor and my teaching philosophy is not just about how to swing the paddle, but teaching the art of pickleball - strategy, spins, footwork, and how to get the most out of your game.

Beyond tournaments, my skills have been consistently tested and proven on the courts of Maple Hill, iPickle Whittier, and iPickle LaHabra, where I perform well against players rated 4.5 and above.
