I am a passionate tennis player who started training at the age of 5. Since that day, my life has revolved around tennis! I played professionally as a junior tennis player, participating in weekly USTA and UTR tournaments and leagues and winning over 25 tournaments. I also played in many academies abroad, such as Nadal Tennis Academy and Ferrero Tennis Academy. In high school, I played varsity singles number 2 and then singles number 3 in college. I am currently majoring in kinesiology, and I enjoy fitness training and playing tennis with my friends and younger siblings. I have completed the USTA Coaching Fundamentals Workshop, and I am currently working towards my coaching certification. I started playing pickleball 3 years ago and I play almost every day in advanced level open play and ladder sessions. I’ve learned a lot about what it takes to go from not knowing how to play to being a solid pickup player who can play in advanced level games. I still know exactly what it’s like to be a brand new beginner and trying to figure out the game especially all the rules. My coaching style is easygoing and I try to keep the lessons light hearted so everyone feels welcome and comfortable. I like to use a mix of drills and gameplay with real time instruction and feedback during my lessons. A group of 3 or 4 students makes for a great class because I can play a doubles game with you while teaching you how the game works. I can also advise you on equipment, where to play, what apps to download to find games and leagues, etc. Feel free to reach out with any questions!
