I'm a native Spanish teacher from Costa Rica and bilingual educator with 10+ years of teaching experience and 20+ years in technology and professional training. I work with children teens, adults, beginners, advanced learners, and heritage Spanish Speakers, specializing in conversation, pronunciation, grammar, reading, writing, and confidence-building through an ACTFL-aligned approach. My experience includes Bellarmine college prep, Leigh High School, Stratford, and Casa di Mir Montessori.

I have been a Basketball Coach for over 25 years from the high school to college level. I spent 17 years (2005-2022) as the Head Men's Coach at De Anza College in Northern California. Prior to that I was the Head Assistant Coach at Notre Dame de Namur University (2002-2004) in Belmont, California. I began my coaching career at W.C. Overfelt High School in San Jose (1999-2002). I have coached hundreds of student-athletes from diverse backgrounds. I am experienced and committed.
