I play 3-5 times a week and actively participate in tournaments, constantly striving to improve my game. Currently, I work with a company that partners with a city recreation program, teaching pickleball three days a week and running a Round Robin ladder league on Saturday mornings. "On my first day with Byron, from my start of a few warm up swings and not being able to hit the ball consistently and minimal control, within the first 30 minutes of guidance on grip, stance, swing, and encouragement, I was able to swing better, get the ball in the air more frequently and relatively in the right direction. Byron is patient and provides feedback throughout, along with tips and guidance to take a break in between swings if some shots aren’t great or need to try a different club then go back to the one I was having some difficulty with. Looking forward to continuing with Byron.

Golf can be played the Classical way involving all of the intricacies of technique and math or it can be taught at the Quantum level. I am prepared to use both.

I've be committed to my teaching for almost 25 years, helping people of all levels. I’ve taught over 30,000 group & private lessons helping people achieve their goals. I’ve been a member of the PGA since 2004. I was the head teaching pro at El Dorado Park in Long Beach for 13 years before moving over to Recreation Park 18. I created the first ever teaching & coaching completion within the PGA of America called America’s Golf Coach. I also created and run a non profit in Long Beach called Tee Off Together. I am a co-author of a book called Americas Golf Coach available on Amazon. Lessons also include on course instruction.
