She currently serves as a Bilingual Specialist Teacher in Illinois, supporting multilingual learners through engaging, student-centered instruction. Wendy holds a Professional Educator License (PEL) with endorsements in Bilingual Education, ESL, and Reading, and earned a Master of Education in ESL/Bilingual Education and Reading from National Louis University. She is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Linguistic Diversity and Equity, with a commitment to fostering academic success, language development, and inclusive learning environments.

Basketball has been a major part of my life. I played in high school and college before a serious injury ended my playing career and led me into coaching. I went on to build a successful AAU program, start a sports media company, and become a basketball referee. My experience as a player, coach, mentor, and official allows me to teach not only basketball skills, but also confidence, discipline, basketball IQ, and a true understanding of the game.

As a former D1 softball player, I know what it means to play at an elite level. Although the game has evolved since I played, I believe that hard work and mental toughness are the keys to success. All it takes is one pitch to make something great happen, and that is what I work on with my players: understanding it. If failure happens, we keep trying. You have to want the next one to be great.

Extensive experience within the Chicago White Sox organization, serving as an Assistant Coach, Hitting Coach, Baserunning Coach, and Outfield Coach.

I have a B. A in Psychology, I am a Certified Recovery Support Specialist, Youth & Adult Mental Health Aider, CPR/First Aid. I have been a tutor for 3 years, specifically in topics of Elementary Reading and Math from Pre-K-5th grade, but I can assist with other subjects provided the focus area the assistance is needed. I have also been an after school instructor for cooking and steam classes. I enjoy helping children gain confidence in knowledge to progress in academics and life journey.
