My career highlights include being named USTA Midwest Coach of the Year in 2024 and coaching a World #1 ITF/USTA junior player who dominated prestigious tournaments like the Easter Bowl, Copper Bowl, and Junior Grand Slams. I've also coached on the USTA Pro Circuit, led winning college teams, and guided high school boys to a state championship title. My expertise extends beyond the competitive arena, as I've also served as a celebrity coach for individuals in the music and entertainment industry. I'm dedicated to sharing my knowledge and passion for tennis, helping players achieve their goals through a focus on technical excellence, tactical awareness, and mental strength.

I began my guitar journey at the very end of 1989, learning from a Mel Bay book before starting formal lessons. Over the years, I've explored rock, blues, jazz, fingerstyle, and classical guitar. In 2001, I completed my undergraduate studies with a minor in music, and although I majored in computer science, I found myself teaching guitar during a downturn in the tech industry. Inspired by a faculty recital at Berklee College of Music in 2002, I pursued an advanced degree in music, earning a Master of Music degree from Butler University in 2006. During my graduate studies, I also taught guitar at Ball State University as a graduate assistant in the Doctor of Arts program. I've lectured on the history of guitar, composed music for various instruments, performed nationwide, and taught hundreds of students across all guitar styles.

I was born in Brazil and picked up a ball for the first time when I was over six feet tall and already 15 years old- it’s never too late! I grew all the way through my second year of college at Cedarville university in shoe size and height, I ended up 6’8 by 21 years old. Since then, I have experienced great heights and low lows navigating this adventure called life. As a former club player in Porto Alegre, Brazil with Sogipa, a college player at Cedarville University in the US, an assistant coach in Clark Summit, PA at Baptist Bible College, a club coach in Santa Cruz, Brazil at Unico, and recreational coach for various children’s sports in the US, I bring you realistic, honest, practical experience and life lessons. I have achievements such as State and National Championship titles and short falls that taught me to work harder and train more effectively. Somethings I value: hard-work, integrity, faith, loyalty, mentorship, friendship, and family. Mastering basketball is a journey, and I'm passionate about guiding you every step of the way. I've been playing competitive golf since I was 7 years old and had a decorated high school career as a 2-year captain, 4-time sectional champion, and a 2-time state finalist with top-20 finishes. I continued my journey at the Division I level at IUPUI (now IU Indianapolis), where I earned a Horizon League Championship ring, an NCAA Regional Championship appearance, and set the all-time record for most tournament rounds competed, along with 10 top-10 finishes. I've been coaching kids' summer camps at a local country club for the past three years and started giving private lessons there a year ago. Currently, I serve as an assistant coach for the IU Indianapolis Men's and Women's golf teams, where I continue to share my passion and knowledge of the game.
