I come a long line of football coaches in my family. What has been bestowed upon my knowledge is three important factors: willingness to push yourself, willingness to push your teammates, and willingness to learn. These there factors create a perfect team for it is what I believe beats out teams that rely heavily on talent. These three factors also play a role in shaping my players for what is beyond football and later in life. Perseverance, determination, and discipline spring from these factors and that is what I strive to bestow to my players.

With over two decades of NCAA Division I coaching experience, including Head Coach roles at Bradley University and Eastern Kentucky University, I bring elite-level instruction and proven player development to every session. I’ve coached 11 future Major League Baseball players and 36 All-Americans, and I take pride in building strong, trust-based relationships with each athlete I mentor. From refining mechanics to building game intelligence and mental toughness, my coaching is personalized, detailed, and built on a foundation of integrity and respect. I have led successful recruiting efforts, managed multi-faceted programs, and contributed to national rules and competition committees (NCAA and ABCA), giving me a deep understanding of what it takes to excel at the highest levels. For three decades I've continued my passion for basketball from playing as a young kid, to playing in high school and college, and now playing and coaching whenever I get the chance. I began coaching my son in basketball when he began to show interest, and have been coaching teams of various ages, genders, and skill levels over the last few years. My coaching emphasizes fundamental skills, strategic thinking, and teamwork within a positive and encouraging teaching environment.
