I began playing tennis before I could walk. By age 11 I competed year-round in the Texas Junior Circuit. From age 9 to 13 I was coached by the greats John Wilkerson and Edgar Arnold and was on track to begin competing nationally by age 14. I have competed in tennis, football, and baseball at the collegiate, and professional levels for the majority of my life.

For over four decades, I've cultivated a passion for soccer, helping players of all levels refine their skills and deepen their love for the game. My extensive experience allows me to provide tailored coaching, fostering both individual growth and team success. I look forward to sharing my expertise with you on the field. I've been playing golf since I was 14, inspired by my great uncle, who was Arnold Palmer’s high school golf coach and remained friends with him throughout their lives. Currently, I hold a 2.4 handicap and was co-captain of the Latrobe, PA high school team. During college, I gave lessons to faculty and friends and participated in various amateur events, even though I didn’t compete for my college team. I love the game and find immense satisfaction in helping others enhance their enjoyment, whether they're just starting out or looking to refine their skills.

Sumayah Arcusa, PGA, is a certified PGA Golf Instructor at The Lab 301 located in Bowie, Maryland. She is a native of Bowie, Maryland, and was raised in Prince George's County. She received her degree in PGA Golf Management and played collegiate golf. Sumayah’s students mainly consist of women and juniors, but her lesson books are open to all.
