Hi! I’m Bethania, a current medical student and lifelong competitive swimmer with international experience. I began as a lifeguard in high school and rediscovered my passion for teaching while instructing at Boston University. I’ve worked with all ages, from infants to older adults, and love helping swimmers build confidence and skills. Feel free to reach out if you’re in the DC/Maryland area! :)

I'm Diego Pena, a Division 1 goalkeeper at the George Washington University and Dominican Republic National Team. I help young players improve their technical skills, confidence, and understanding of the game through thoughtful, fun, and personalized training sessions. As a collegiate athlete, I bring a first experience of what's it like to play at a high level. My goal is to help players develop on and off the field while always building a lasting enjoyment for the game.

My teaching philosophy is that you must have fun. If studying guitar feels like a chore, this won't work. I like to meet students where they are, both overall (what's the music you love!) and how they feel week to week. I've played guitar since I was 14, and I love the instrument not only because it rocks, but also because of its rich history and its standing as an art object. I write guitar-focused journalism for magazines like Premier Guitar & Fretboard Journal.

For the past eight years, I've cultivated a passion for boxing and mixed martial arts in students. I'm currently 5-1 in my professional MMA career (my last fight was in the UFC Contender Series). Coming from a small city in India, I wasn't naturally athletic, but through my growing understanding of technique, athletics, and biomechanics, I fight at the highest levels. I blend time-tested techniques and concepts with personalized training, getting people to really love martial arts and boxing the way I do.

Progressed from junior coach to senior staff, taking on greater responsibility in instruction, mentorship, and clinic operations.

I specialize in developing defensive backs through elite movement training, position-specific technique, and speed/agility development. As a former 4-year college football starter playing 3 years at the Division II level and 1 year at the Division I FBS level, then getting the opportunity to participate in Baltimore Ravens minicamp. Michael Graham, the fierce Georgetown power forward, became a national force in 1984. His explosive dunks, toughness, and defensive intensity helped lead the Hoyas to their first NCAA championship. A DC native, Graham’s energy and presence made him an instant icon. After college, he played professionally and later became a mentor, media voice, and community leader through youth advocacy and The Michael Graham Show.
