Now, I channel that experience and enthusiasm into coaching individuals of all ages and skill levels. I'm an award-winning singer-songwriter and pianist whose music touches the depths of the soul, leaving a lasting impression. With over 15 years of experience teaching piano, songwriting, and vocal techniques, I founded the Margarita Shamrakova Music School to nurture the talents of aspiring musicians. From my upbringing in Ukraine to my vibrant life in New York City, my diverse cultural background shapes my unique approach to music education. Drawing from my success in the John Lennon Songwriting Competition and collaborations with industry giants, I offer comprehensive lessons covering everything from song creation to music theory. Whether teaching in the comfort of your home or group settings, I provide a supportive space where you can freely express yourself and discover your inner spirit. With a passion for unlocking the potential of each student, I'm dedicated to guiding you toward greatness in music. Recently I have performed in Lincoln Center in Ritual of Breath opera.

Throughout my coaching experience, I have focused on delivering personalized instruction that meets each athlete’s unique goals and skill level. I design structured yet adaptable lesson plans that strengthen fundamentals, refine advanced techniques, and build game intelligence. Beyond physical development, I emphasize confidence, discipline, and a strong understanding of the game that makes for qualities that help players succeed both on and off the field. I saw 7 of the kids I coached play DI baseball and one get drafted - 13th round of the 2025 MLB draft.

I first learned golf as a teenager and was hand-selected by a Head Golf Pro to become an apprentice, aiming to teach and play at a high level. After an injury, I’ve been focusing on rehab while giving lessons, all with the goal of becoming competitive again. With over 25 years of experience, I've honed my skills under the guidance of the legendary Biaggio (Yaz) Consalvo in Northern NJ. Holding a U.S.G.A 7 handicap, I teach players of all ages and skill levels—from beginners to advanced, ages 5 to 92. My methods are simple and effective, making it easy for anyone to practice at home. Born and raised in Queens, New York, Rockaway Beach is my home break. I’ve surfed all over the world—from Hawaii to Indonesia, Puerto Rico to Peru, as well as California and Japan. I’m passionate about teaching and giving people the opportunity to learn this amazing sport while connecting with nature and the waves.

For over 15 years, I've fostered a love of football in players of all levels. My coaching emphasizes skill development and strategic thinking, building confident and capable athletes. I strive to make every session engaging, challenging, and rewarding.

I have been providing both individual and group instructions for several years. Most of my instruction has been with adults but I have also provided lessons for children. I evaluate each individual before providing any instruction to get an idea of playing ability so I can identify areas of opportunity for improvement.
