Coach Jhamir White is a former NCAA Division II National Champion and standout guard at Richard Bland College and Virginia State University who has transformed his passion for basketball into developing the next generation of athletes. With experience coaching AAU programs, high school teams, and leading elite skills training sessions, he is recognized for his ability to mentor, motivate, and push players to reach their fullest potential on and off the court. Through his program, P.H.E.A.R.D. With over 25 years of basketball playing experience, I've helped players of all ages and skill levels unlock their full potential on the court. My coaching style blends technical expertise with a fun, supportive environment that fosters growth and a true love of the game. I will tailor a training program that will improve the skills that need the most improvement. I have years of experience playing basketball since I was a child throughout high school and intramurally in college. I have been a basketball trainer for about 4 years as I have taken on clients who want to improve in forest hills league from an Asian community as well as any players who would like to improve. I specialize in plyometric training exercises that improve vertical jumping, speed and quickness. I focus on good diet, recovery, consistency, and fundamentals with all of my basketball training clients. I train first in fundamentals, then moving on to simulate in-game situations, and finally scrimmages or pickup games. My playing expertise in basketball combined with my passion and fundamentals in teaching will make me an excellent trainer. Let's connect and discuss your basketball journey!
