Tennis has been a lifelong passion for me, but about three years ago, the magnetic allure of pickleball caught my attention. Intrigued and motivated to spread my love for this sport, I pursued PPR certification and embarked on a teaching journey that has now spanned over a year. My teaching endeavors have seen me conducting numerous classes, reaching out to hundreds of players at various levels of expertise, all within the welcoming environment of the YMCA. I'm Seiya, a varsity tennis player at NYU with over a decade of competitive experience. Growing up in Hawaii, I won 4 state championships and won National High School All American Championships before joining the NYU Men's Tennis Team where I currently compete. I am also currently a summer coach for the junior programs at ROOSEVELT ISLAND RACQUET CLUB, where I work with young players of all levels. I am also able to coach any age and will tailor every lesson to your goals.
