Coach Lu is a basketball trainer passionate about developing players from the ground up, with a focus on building strong fundamentals that translate into real game performance. With over a decade of playing experience, including starting at point guard as a varsity freshman and the versatility to play all five positions on the floor, Coach Lu transitioned into coaching with a belief that every player—regardless of starting skill level—can improve dramatically with the right instruction, repetition, and mindset. Coach Lu's training philosophy centers on three pillars: fundamentals first, individualized development, and building confidence alongside skill. Sessions blend proven skill-building progressions—ball-handling, shooting mechanics, footwork, and basketball IQ—with situational drills that prepare players for real game speed and decision-making. Currently working with players ranging from beginners to competitive youth athletes, Coach Lu emphasizes patience and clear communication, breaking down complex movements into simple, repeatable steps. Known for creating a positive, high-energy training environment, he believes that a player's love for the game is just as important as their technical growth. His own background as a starting point guard who could play any position gives him a unique feel for how each role sees the game, which shows up in how he teaches spacing, decision-making, and versatility to his students. I have lived and taught English, French and Italian in various places throughout the world. My life's passion is language and culture and the transmitting of it to others. I strive to be a positive role model for students, showing them understanding and compassion, making each and everyone feel like unique individuals who are important to society. I have had experience with all levels of language and all ages; from preschool to adults. I have taught in public schools, as well as private.

Former high school varsity, Division III JUCO, and USCAA Division II basketball player and National Champion. Played professionally in Mexico with the San Luis Acatlán Pichoteros. I specialize in teaching fundamentals, skill development, basketball IQ, and building confidence while helping players maximize their potential on and off the court.

Alexandra was born and raised in a tennis family. Second generation of professional tennis players. She was the number #1 junior tennis player in Central Asia. A daughter of Galina Sorokotyaga who was #1 back to 1965 in Soviet Union. Alexandra considers herself honest and responsible. PTR(Professional Tennis Registry) category "PROFESSIONAL" .
