I have been a passionate player of the game for over 20 years. I began playing competitive golf as a young child playing on 2 different junior tours in North Carolina where I was able to play some of the nicest, and most challenging courses in the state. During this time I also learned the rigors of competitive golf and the level of mental strength it takes to be successful. I later played for my highschool team and after a short hiatus from the game in early adulthood, picked the game back up in 2020, and began competing at the professional level on the Carolina Mountain Professional Tour, as well as The Bag Tour in 2021. I am extremely passionate about the game and believe my experience playing, as well as knowledge of golf swing theory and modern equipment give me the ability to pass that knowledge on to help beginner and intermediate golfers advance their game to their desired goals and beyond.
"Focusing on the fundamentals really made a difference in this lesson, and I think Elijah’s straightforward approach helped me get clearer on where I need to improve. Though, I’d say I still need more work on consistent swing mechanics, but I’m hopeful about building on this. If you’re after lessons that are practical and not overly complicated, Elijah might be a solid choice to consider.

Michael Ford is a guitarist from Spartanburg, South Carolina who enjoys all genres of music from jazz to rock and everything in between. He has been performing in many different musical contexts and teaching for over a decade. Michael has performed and recorded with many artists including, Mike Stern, the New York Voices, and Nicole Henry. He just completed his master’s degree in Jazz Guitar Performance from the University of Miami. In 2023, Michael released his debut record entitled “COHESION” under “The Michael Ford Project” on all platforms.
