For two decades, I've channeled my passion for football at all levels. I played five years in college, one year in the NFL and three years in the UFL. This last season, I led the UFL in tackles. My expertise is defensive, yet enjoy challenging offensive players skillset. My coaching blends strategic insight with personalized mentorship. Fun fact: I played against Michael Vick in high school! My team, I.C. Norcom High School in Portsmouth, VA, defeated his team, Warwick High School — what a game! I also faced off against DeAngelo Hall from Deep Creek. Both went on to star in college and the NFL. The stories I could tell! I'm a football fanatic, but my passion doesn’t stop there. I’ve coached countless younger family members in all kinds of sports — because with passion, anything can be learned. I teach football, basketball, softball, track and field, and even competitive frisbee (a neighborhood favorite!). I coach with three key ingredients: love, enthusiasm, and discipline — a proven recipe for greatness. I’m incredibly proud of my roots in the 757. Our region produces some of the best talent in the country, and I’m committed to developing the next generation of sports legends. I don’t just teach—I play, demonstrate, and relate, because young athletes need to see that I’ve walked the path they’re on. Relatability builds trust, and trust leads to results. If I could express one thing to change it would be to please stop separating the children by ability. At their age they all need the drills. Thank you! Basketball has brought me so many of the qualities that make me the person I am today. I love the process and strive of the game and that has not changed now as a coach. My attention to detail creates that edge to continue to get better. There is a “right” way to play this game, I look to continue to teach and show that to young players.
