After my playing career, I transitioned into coaching, working as an assistant strength and conditioning coach for seven NCAA athletic teams at WV State. I also served as a defensive line coach and recruiting coordinator for Dayton, Ohio. My name is Alex Charlton and I have a been a guitar, bass, and ukulele instructor for over 15 years. I offer both in person and live virtual lessons. In both beginner and intermediate players I specialize in recognizing your ineffective patterns, and helping you correct them with a combination of instruction and intentional exercises that will elevate your playing. I’ve been involved in softball for 18 years—as a player and as a coach. Over the past four years, I’ve had the privilege of coaching, including three years as the head middle school softball coach at Hamilton Township Local Schools. While I primarily played catcher and third base, I was also considered a utility player and could fill in anywhere on the field as needed. Those two positions were just my main starting spots.
