After spending 3+ years building the #1 pickleball program company-wide at Life Time, I'm excited to offer private lessons to players of all skills and demographics across the Portland metro area. I was born and grew up in China. Before becoming a Mandarin tutor, I worked in hospitals as a well-liked Mandarin Interpreter. I enjoy teaching students at all ages, online or in-person. Over the years I have gained extensive experience working with children. Per your unique needs and desires, I'll design and prepare lessons that will meet your goals and areas of interest and improvements. In addition teaching the ancient language I’d love to share the Chinese culture and tradition.

I have taught and coached: Computer Science, Physics and Math after a career as an engineer and manager. Regardless of skill level, I believe in meeting students where they are, diagnosing their strengths and weaknesses and helping get them to progress. Because of my many engineering projects I can almost always have a specific example to answer the question, "When will I use this?".
