I have been sewing ever since, mainly as a theatrical costume designer, but I also quilt, embroider, pattern draft, paint fabrics, sculpt leather, etc. I've taught beginning hand sewing to 4 year olds all the way up to costume design and alterations for theater students. My name is Joey Potts, and I’ve played professional basketball for three years. Two years overseas in Romania and Norway, and one with the Salem Capitals in Oregon. I’m a 6’9” power forward who competed at the junior college, Division I (Oregon State), and NAIA (Oregon Tech) levels. My experience across multiple levels gives me a unique perspective on the game. I’ve coached and trained players ranging from 5 years old to high school and college athletes.
