Just a fellow pickleball addict that fell in love with the fastest growing sport! With my ping pong background I've grasped the sport and picked it up quickly bringing me to a 4.0 level in less than a year. Playing in cross club 4.0 league to continue learning and improving my skills has propelled me to my next chapter of joining a 4.5 division team this coming season just shy of 2 years into this sport. I'm a student of the game but have been helping many people along the way and the world would just be better with more people playing this game! "I’ve been taking lessons with Justin for about a year now, and I can’t recommend him enough. I came into pickleball with absolutely no sports background, and thanks to his coaching, I’ve worked my way up to playing at a 4.0 level. One of the things I appreciate most is how good Justin is at spotting the little technical details that make a huge difference. For example, something like hitting the ball as it’s coming down from the apex or making a small adjustment to my footwork or paddle position, he’s able to catch things I would never notice on my own. I have 16 years experience as a college chemistry professor, with a MS from the University of Notre Dame. I have taught General Chemistry I and II, as well as organic chemistry lab and forensic science on a regular basis. I have also worked as a private tutor for 20 years to students ranging from middle school through college to students of all ability levels. I love tutoring because it allows me to really connect with an individual student while helping them achieve subject mastery.

"I’ve worked with Alicia Reed and what sets her apart isn’t just that she’s a great player, it’s that she’s an exceptional teacher. Coaching is a completely different skill set than playing, and Alicia truly excels at it. She doesn’t just feed balls and say “good shot.” She actually sees what you’re doing, explains why it isn’t working, and shows you how to fix it. She pays attention to paddle position, footwork, timing, and mechanics, and she makes corrections in real time. She doesn’t stop for long speeches or overcomplicate things.
