I started off playing at the age of 12 from middle school to high school. After graduation from high school I became an intern at an after school program and became the basketball coach for 3 years. Hey I’m Coach Les, I have a master’s in exercise science and I bring 12 years of coaching experience. I’ve helped multiple athletes receive scholarships in their respective sports. My background includes collegiate football and track, three state powerlifting records and two national powerlifting records. I specialize in athletic performance and biomechanics. I also serve the community as a Nashville firefighter and EMT.

I hold a degree from Berklee College of Music and I’ve spent the last two decades developing students both privately and through instructional environments. My teaching style is rooted in practical application—helping drummers develop time, feel, consistency, and versatility across genres including country, rock, funk, blues, R&B, pop, and fusion. I also emphasize preparation for professional scenarios such as click-track performance, touring expectations, and studio efficiency.

With a vibrant stage presence cultivated through years as a concert performer, I bring a unique perspective to vocal coaching. For nine years, I've been working on my craft. I began teaching as a way to guide spiring singers to find their voice and unlock their performance potential with technique and passion. I'm dedicated to helping you achieve your vocal aspirations!

As an instructor, I've spent over 15 years honing the skills of aspiring guitarists of all ages, from fourth graders to adults. Mark Cahak is a lifelong student and teacher of the game of lacrosse, committed to developing players of all levels through moral integrity, passion, hard work, and skill-building. A standout defenseman at Fayetteville-Manlius High School (First Team All-League, All-CNY, and Empire State Games team member), Mark went on to play for Syracuse University, where he was part of the 2009 National Championship team and a two-time Athletic Director’s Honor Roll recipient. Mark began his coaching career as Defensive Coordinator at Harvard-Westlake in California and went on to hold coaching roles at Montgomery Bell Academy and Ensworth School in Nashville. As Ensworth’s Head Coach from 2015–2018, he led the program to a state championship and earned TSLA, US Lacrosse Tennessee, and Tennessean Coach of the Year honors. Mark’s coaching philosophy centers on building complete student-athletes—on the field and in life—by instilling discipline, leadership, and love for the game. Whether working with beginners or seasoned players, he brings energy, focus, and a genuine dedication to helping athletes grow.
