With a lifelong passion for racquet and paddle sports, I've dedicated six years to playing, competing, and teaching pickleball. My journey in racquet sports began with junior and collegiate tennis, and later, I transitioned to racquetball, achieving remarkable success with 14 national titles in singles and doubles, a world doubles title as part of Team USA, and a world ranking of #3 on the pro tour. Pickleball has been a natural extension of my racquet sports expertise, and in every tournament I've entered, I've emerged victorious or landed in the top three. My love for these games drives me to teach and share my knowledge, making me a dedicated and accomplished pickleball player and instructor. I've been playing tennis since I was about 10-12 years old. I competed as a junior, played through high school, and continued for two years at the college level. During my college years, I instructed at summer sports camps in the New York area, working with kids and young athletes across different skill levels. I love help players understand proper technique and build confidence as their game improves. I have a full-time job, but coaching is something I genuinely enjoy.

I’m Shane Alvey, a scratch golfer, husband, father, and former Head Golf Professional with 8+ years of teaching experience and over 5,000 hours of lessons. I’ve shot rounds as low as 66, including a career-best 29 on nine holes, and I bring that same passion and precision to helping golfers of all levels improve and enjoy the game.
