I am a former college athlete and grade school teacher. I began playing pickleball 6 years ago. My passion for pickleball and teaching led me to become a pickleball instructor. I love playing and I have found that I love teaching pickleball the same! I am certified through IPTPA as an instructor and have been actively teaching beginner to advanced intermediate level pickleball for 2 years. I am currently working in Houston with an amazing pickleball pro! My coaching goes far beyond “copy this angle” or “hold the club like that.” I help golfers understand where power comes from, how speed is created, how rhythm is controlled, and how to remain mentally steady under pressure. My approach blends psychology, physiology, and physical mechanics with the principles of Taichi and meditation. This fusion helps players move with clarity, relax unnecessary tension, and generate natural, efficient power. My writing on this philosophy has also been featured in Golf Digest. Every golfer is built differently—different height, body shape, flexibility, rotation speed—so every swing I teach is uniquely tailored. I focus on giving players the tools to self-adjust and self-improve, instead of relying on rigid, mechanical “positions” that only work when perfectly copied. I began my golfing journey in the UK, where the courses present a unique challenge. The key there is to master controlling the flight of the ball, a skill I honed early in my career. My prowess in the short game is something I'm particularly proud of; my pitching and chipping skills are exceptional. Over the years, I've had the privilege of playing alongside numerous professionals, gaining invaluable insights and experience. I'm known for my patience and keen eye for spotting issues in a golfer's technique. I'm always ready to offer advice, as I quickly identify and help address the problems golfers face.

A former Middle School Science Teacher of the Year (2017), Darryl has a talent for customizing lessons that meet the individual needs of his students. Before transitioning to pickleball, he was an avid racquetball player, and now he’s fully immersed in pickleball, playing over five times a week. When he's not on the court, Darryl is analyzing his own game recordings or studying techniques through YouTube videos. "Not sure what happened but TJ never showed up to the lesson never called or texted. Our lesson was confirmed earlier in the day so everything was all good. I drive 30 minutes in rush hour to the driving range and he wasn’t there. I hope everything is ok. But this will be my last time using teach me to. I’ll use a golf club instructor going forward

Stan is a PPR-certified pickleball coach with 20 years of racquet sports experience and a background in biomedical engineering. He specializes in one-on-one lessons, using biomechanics and physics to help players understand and refine their technique. With a focus on clear feedback and customized instruction, Stan tailors each session to the player’s goals and skill level. He’s passionate about helping individuals experience “ah-ha” moments on the court and is committed to creating a positive, encouraging learning environment for every player.

Nick is dedicated to developing young talent with over 15 years in the golf industry. As the Tour Director for the Under Armour Junior Tour - North Houston, President of Caddies for Kids' Houston Chapter, and Head Golf Coach at Legacy Prep, Nick has coached numerous juniors to national and world championships and college scholarships. Off the course, he enjoys spending time with his wife and five children.
