My teaching philosophy is that you must have fun. If studying guitar feels like a chore, this won't work. I like to meet students where they are, both overall (what's the music you love!) and how they feel week to week. I've played guitar since I was 14, and I love the instrument not only because it rocks, but also because of its rich history and its standing as an art object. I write guitar-focused journalism for magazines like Premier Guitar & Fretboard Journal.

I have a masters in Computer Science and a bachelors in Physics. I have both teaching and one-on-one tutoring experience. I am interested in tutoring students one-on-one in math, computer science, and physics from the middle school to college level. I can do either in-person or online.
