With 15 years of playing experience including at the Division 2 level, I bring a deep understanding of the game to every training session. I’ve worked with athletes of all ages and skill levels, focusing on developing fundamentals, boosting football IQ, and building confidence through consistent, high-quality instruction. My coaching style blends technique, discipline, and competitive energy. Whether working with beginners learning the basics or advanced players preparing for higher-level competition, I tailor each session to individual strengths and group goals. Nick will be the new Head Pro at Oakton Swim and Racquet Club and is a USPTA Elite Professional and PTR Level 2 Professional with nearly 20 years teaching experience as a head tennis professional, director of tennis, and varsity tennis coach. Currently, he is Flint Hill’s Assistant Varsity Coach for both boys and girls. He serves on several organizational committees for the USPTA including as the State President of Ohio and the Midwest ELEVATE committee. Nick has received several awards including Lessons.com Top 10 instructor 2020 (Northern Virginia), PTR’s Member of the Year (2013), and was named the Washington Post’s High School Coach of the Year in 2010. He specializes with developing junior tennis players using a progression based format. He believes in developing relationships first. By building positive, trusting relationships, he believes that anyone can learn the game of tennis.
