I am a former Division I and professional basketball player with a deep passion for teaching the game. With years of experience competing at the highest levels, I specialize in developing athletes through skill-specific training, game IQ development, and personalized coaching. My approach focuses on fundamentals, footwork, shooting mechanics, and situational play, tailored to each athlete’s position and goals. Whether working with beginners or advanced players, I emphasize discipline, confidence, and a strong work ethic—on and off the court.

With over 15 years of basketball experience, at the AAU level, playing NCAA college basketball, and coaching Varsity teams, I am dedicated to fostering both skill development and a deep love for the game. I have provided individual pickleball instruction and group clinics to novice and experienced players from teens to seniors. My approach is to get players playing as soon as possible. Once the fundamentals are introduced I find it best to allow the players to find their own comfort level and develop confidence by playing the game.

Igniting a passion for pickleball, I bring two years of dedicated coaching experience, cultivated from my time as a renowned snowboard instructor for years and coaching background in basketball. With over 40 years of golf experience as a player & teacher. He became a coach to be able to pass on his extensive knowledge of the great game of golf to beginners, intermediate players, & pros. * Coach Mike has developed his very own special and unique golf philosophy and teaching methods. It’s this philosophy that is creating golf champions & believers. * He has educated himself by watching and playing with some of the top teachers and players in the game of golf. He has extensively studied the varied golf theories of the prolific teachers both past and present. * He has also endlessly watched and analyzed the moves and technique of the all time great ballstrikers (Moe Norman, Lee Trevino, Ben Hogan, Annika Sorenstam, and Jack Nicklaus), chippers (Ray Floyd, Gary Player) and putters (Bobby Locke, Ben Crenshaw). * Mike is a PGA Associate who shot 72 in his 5th round of 2019 to win the PGA playing ability test in Baltimore. He is a US Kids Golf Certified Instructor and PCA Certified Instructor.
