I’m a coach who believes in discipline, hard work, and structure—values that were instilled in me during my time in the Marine Corps. Basketball has always been more than just a game to me. Growing up, it kept me focused, gave me purpose, and protected me from a lot of the negatives in my environment. Now, as a coach, I want to pass that same structure and passion on to my players. I had the unique experience of playing basketball across multiple states throughout middle and high school. That exposure to different play styles and philosophies shaped how I see the game today. I emphasize adaptability, fundamentals, and high-IQ decision-making because I’ve seen firsthand how different approaches to the game can create well-rounded players. My goal as a coach isn’t just to develop talent but to build disciplined, resilient players who can handle challenges—both on and off the court. I push my players to be accountable, work hard, and commit to excellence because that’s what it takes to succeed, not just in basketball, but in life.

Igniting passion on the court is my specialty! For the last 40 years my passion was teaching tennis. Recently, however, my passion has turned to pickleball. I have medaled 13 times at the 4.0 and 4.5 level, and am a Level 1 Pickleball Professional Instructor certified the Professional Pickleball Registry.
