My love affair with the violin began at the tender age of 6, setting the stage for a lifelong passion for the musical arts. Hailing from Taichung, Taiwan, I took my first bow in the orchestral world at 12, and the stage has been my home ever since. While my teen years saw me recognized as a distinguished model and award winner in the Taiwan National Beauty Contest, my heart has always beat in harmony with the soulful melodies of classical music. After graduating from Tainan National University of Arts at 21, I continued my musical odyssey, earning a Master's in classical music composition. Today, I grace live concert stages, enchant private events, and traverse the globe, sharing the magic of music on international cruise lines. My commitment to the musical arts extends beyond performance; I'm devoted to nurturing future prodigies by imparting knowledge, love, and a boundless passion for the world of music. Join me on this symphonic journey, and let's elevate your musical experience together!
"Always looking forward for more lessons. So Fun!!

Sofia Sednef is originally a Seattle-based musician and a graduate of Seattle Pacific University with a BA in Music Performance, and is currently pursuing graduate studies in violin performance. She began her studies in violin at age seven and piano at age nine, and throughout her junior years, she received foundational, comprehensive, and rigorous education from accomplished European, classically trained instructors. Prior to her university studies, Sofia was a first violinist for the Tacoma Youth Symphony Association, where she also served as second violin principal and a violinist for one of the association’s top string quartets. While studying at Seattle Pacific University, she studied violin with Ilkka Talvi and piano with Dainius Vaicekonis. She served as concertmaster for the SPU Orchestra and was an active violinist in multiple facets of the music department, whether through performances, tutoring, collaborations, or coaching sessions. Sofia currently works as a freelance musician and instructor, and is continually working with all kinds of talented musicians in various professional and musical settings while pursuing further studies.
"Sofia is the sweetest teacher. She knows how to talk to you and encourage you. She does everything with excellence. Sofia notices the little details that I had no idea about. Her advice has really helped me improve my violin playing.

Welcome to my vocal studio! I am a Seattle-based singer and voice teacher currently accepting new students of all levels. Have you been singing in choirs for years and have vocal fatigue after rehearsals and/or performances? Maybe you have issues navigating through register breaks? Are struggling with expanding your range? Or perhaps you love to sing but have stage fright? Afraid of performing in front of others but are drawn to the stage? Are you shy/introverted but feel the need to express yourself musically? Me too! I absolutely empathize with all of these feelings, and would love to help you work through this through song. Music is healing. It is nurturing. It is necessary. And it is these sensitivities, our vulnerabilities, that connect us to music, which allows us to fully express who we truly are. No matter where you are in your musical journey, I would be happy to work with you! I work with each student individually and address their own specific needs. We are all unique and learn/absorb new information differently, and it is a welcomed and creative challenge for me to figure out with my students what personally works for them. I would like to share the tremendous knowledge I’ve gleaned from my esteemed instructors with you and help you to become a better, healthier and happier singer! This technique works for any singing style to assist you in keeping the voice fresh and healthy for many years. My lessons address breath support, proper alignment, personal expression and more. I have a sensitive, positive teaching style and I will work with you very patiently and supportively. I have found so much joy from free, healthy singing and it is my goal to help you experience this same joy in your musical journey.
"I joined a choir, and I could never have participated in that choir without Stefanie's guidance and support. I will be forever grateful to Stefanie for her help in opening the door to singing with other people.

I’m playing tennis for 19 years. 8 years coaching experience. Sometimes still participate in tournaments by myself. I provide advanced tennis lessons, as well as explanation how to enjoy the game and stay healthy.
"The lesson with Katya was quite good. She was very patient with my son, who’s still new to tennis and had never held a racket before. She set clear goals that helped him feel at ease, and surprisingly, he started to follow her directions pretty well. Still, it was encouraging to see his comfort grow so quickly. If you're considering trying a lesson, Katya might be worth a shot.
