Hello my name is Allen and I am a local Milwaukee tennis coach with over 40 years of playing experience and over 11 years of teaching experience! After I retired as a Senior Graphic Designer in 2009, I turned my attention to another life-long passion, tennis! Since then, I have earned three gold as well as five silver medals in tennis while participating in the Senior Olympics. I have also been a boys and girls tennis coach at Brookfield Central High School since 2013 and served as the head tennis coach for Mount Mary University located in Milwaukee (NCAA Division 3) in 2016. I am currently employed as a tennis instructor for the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Tennis is great fun! It’s a lifetime sport that brings many rich benefits. Learning to play tennis well brings a sense of fulfillment and self-confidence. For the past 2 years I've worked with 5-year-olds who were complete beginners up to more experienced players at the middle and high school level, helping them achieve their goals while having fun. :)

Golf is a lifelong journey, and after 50 years of playing and competing at a 6-handicap level, I’ve seen it all. As a former D1 tennis player, I understand how to coach body mechanics and hand-eye coordination for maximum efficiency. My goal is to make the game less frustrating and more enjoyable by teaching you the same tournament-tested strategies I’ve used for years. I work with all ages and skill levels, focusing on building a foundation that lasts a lifetime. I have published two golf books, 100/10/100 and 90/9/90. The books give you simple strategies to break 100 and break 90.

I specialize in coaching softball outfielders who want to improve their defense, hitting, confidence, and overall game awareness. I love teaching the small details that make a big difference, including reads off the bat, footwork, communication, throwing mechanics, and hitting fundamentals. I care deeply about every athlete as both a player and person, creating a positive environment focused on growth, confidence, hard work, and making the game fun and competitive for softball players anywhere.
