With playing experience at the high school and college level as well as coaching experience with the Los Angeles Dodgers organization, I look to share my knowledge of the game to help develop ball players. With my degree in psychology, I focus on also teaching the mental framework necessary to be a successful athlete. Currently I am a coach for the CGE 10u team in San Mateo. I am able to work with players at any age. I’m more than happy to work on any aspect of the game (hitting, fielding, catching, pitching).

Hello all, my name is Riley Harwell. I’m a recent graduate of Louisiana State University (LSU) with a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science. I was a four-year starter for LSU’s Club Baseball Team, where I helped lead the team to two NCBA World Series appearances in 2022 and 2023. In 2024, I was honored as the MVP of the NCBA Wood Wars Tournament in West Monroe, Lousiana. Before college, I spent over 15 years competing in North Georgia for various teams in East Cobb and the surrounding areas, gaining valuable experience and developing a strong foundation in the game through consistent, high-level competition. I have a lifelong passion for both development and competition, and I’m always eager to share my knowledge of the game with anyone willing to learn. I anticipate providing lessons in hitting, playing the catcher position, or general Infield/outfield glove work and mechanics.

For 18 years I have dedicated my life to perfecting baseball as a player. With all of this experience I will guarantee that your baseball or softball player will benefit from working with me. I’m a former professional baseball player and current college coach who’s passionate about helping players reach their full potential. With years of experience on the field and in the cages, I’ve developed a teaching style that blends modern player-development concepts with old-school fundamentals. My lessons focus on: -Hitting Development: Building efficient, repeatable swing mechanics, developing bat speed and exit velocity, and mastering approach & mindset at the plate. -Infield & Defensive Work: Improving glove skills, footwork, throwing mechanics, and defensive IQ to help players become reliable game-changers in the field. -Athletic Strength & Movement: Training movement patterns that translate directly to performance on the diamond. I work with players of all ages and skill levels, tailoring each session to fit individual goals. My mission is simple: help you compete with confidence and unlock your best version as a ballplayer.

Going into my senior year of college playing and acting as the pitching captain for Lawrence University baseball, I’m passionate about data- driven results in velocity gain and injury prevention in pitchers. I’ve worked in a high performance facility with ages from high school through college, from all levels including D1, D2, and Junior college arms.
