Coach Garret here, with over 15 years of baseball experience, I’ve played all over the U.S., represented Team USA in Taiwan,Placed in Cooperstown,NY and played all over over nation. Baseball is my passion, I couldn’t have had the opportunity to travel and play without coaching. I have been coached by multiple MLB players for pitching,hitting,and catching. I specialize in hitting, shortstop, pitcher, and catcher. I will help break down the importance of baseball fundamentals and bring a deep understanding of every position. I have played baseball for 18 years. I currently am playing at a NCAA Division 2 school. I have garnered All Region Player honors and hold a career .323 batting average. I have also coached top travel baseball teams, I served as the hitting coach for a top 100 ranked team by Perfect Game. I look forward to building a relationship and building Baseball skill. Focusing on boosting confidence, the key fundamentals and providing knowledge and guidance needed to better your game on your own.

I started playing at 4 years old, went on to pitch 4 years of college baseball; 2 years at Paris Junior College in Paris, TX, a year at Marshall University in West Virginia, then my senior year at Tarleton State University. After playing, I started coaching at Centennial High School in Burleson, TX. I coached there for 6 years before leaving to explore other career opportunities due to a growing family. I also have quite a bit of softball knowledge, my sister played four years of college softball at Tarleton State University. My wife played Division 1 softball. She is the also the head softball coach at Centennial High School, the school where I coached.

I've coached teams for the last 7 years, 9U-16U, and have also started/ran a baseball organization. My attention to detail and understanding what it takes to be successful on the field are top tier. I'm comfortable with athletes of any age and skill level. Finding a way to communicate what I need done is something that comes naturally to me.
