I've also played in a variety of competitive recreational basketball leagues. I've coached in AAU and other competitive leagues. Currently, I am a certified basketball referee with over 10 years of experience. I'm a coach who is well-rounded and not only able to teach the fundamental to expert skills of the game. Monté Belk, born on December 1, 1980, in Charlotte, North Carolina, developed a passion for basketball from a young age, playing on makeshift hoops with neighborhood kids and honing his skills. Starting from humble beginnings, he joined a recreational league at 11 and was eventually recruited to an AAU team, which helped him build character, teamwork, and determination. Monté's love for the game led him to embrace teaching it and sharing its unique and transformative power with others.
