Coach Joël Slagtand - Basketball Coach & Mentor I’ve been passionate about the game of basketball since 1995, when I first fell in love with the sport. That passion has grown into a lifelong commitment—not only to the game itself but to the powerful lessons it teaches on and off the court. With years of experience coaching in the Miami, Florida recreational league within the Jewish community, I’ve dedicated myself to developing players holistically. My coaching philosophy centers around mental performance, creating a championship mindset, and fostering personal growth. My name is Coach Richardson, I’m a 13 year Collegiate Coaching veteran having coached on many different levels from Junior College up to Division 1 on the men’s and women’s side. I am also a former college athlete. I have tons of experience with personal training for all ages and levels.I want to lead by example in showing players that they must remain positive, work hard and stay focused.
